Bright Futures Backpacks

There are currently hundreds of unaccompanied children in the DC, Maryland and Virgina that need support! Most of these children have seen intense violence and were forced to flee their home countries with what little they could carry. After traveling thousands of miles full of uncertainty, they are gearing up for their newest journey here in the United States:

For any child, the start of school comes with both nerves and excitement. For children who are new to this country and don't have school supplies, it can feel terrifying and lonely.
